Fall work has brought the cowboy crews down to the valley this week.
Despite the fact that they have been dealing with cattle and horses all day, cowboys will gather together to watch people work with cows and horses in their spare time.
What can I say? They’re easily entertained.
As the sun was sets they look on as a fellow takes the edge of a bronc, who had gotten a friend into a wreck.
It’s a little Western.
The light promised drama, as well.
As the light fades and the drama dies down, cowboy and horse reach an agreement.
Another day has come to a close.
I always wanted to live on a ranch and be a real cowgirl; 65 years old now, probably ain’t gonna’ happen! Love the photos.
Great post, thanks for sharing. Love the photos!
Gorgeous photos. So many people would want see this kind of life. Watching a ride in the round corral provides a lot to learn from and comment on. “Easily entertained” = fascinated by the craft of cowboying. Can you imagine a clan of financial analysts sitting around a desk watching a colleague crunch numbers at the end of the day? Not likely.
I look forward to your comments, Greg. They challenge my perception of our lifestyle, dulled by familiarity. Thank you.
Living the Dream? Good job girl!
Loving your photos – the last one is my fav – thanks for sharing! Happy Tuesday:)
Some of my favorite days and best memories are days after the cattle work is done.
